At what location in Texas does the weather cease to be humid? - what part of texas does the roadrunner it live in

I know the east coast of Texas is very humid and in the west is very dry. I've heard that the Austin area moist, but not as bad as the east coast. My question is how far west of Austin has to escape the humidity? I have no interest in the northern part of Texas. I am pleased to be curious about the towns and villages in Central Texas. Thank you.
