Can I substitute the Ricotta cheese to Cream cheese? - lemon ricotta cookies

I have this recipe and I will do, but I have no time, I ricotta cheese and cream.
Lemon Ricotta Cookies with Lemon Glaze
Ingredients

Cookies:
* 2 1 / 2 cups all purpose flour
* 1 teaspoon baking powder
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 stick butter, soft
* 2 cups sugar
* 2 eggs
* 1 (15 oz) container ricotta cheese, whole milk
* 3 tbsp lemon juice
* 1 lemon rind

Glaze:
* 1 1 / 2 cups powdered sugar
* 3 tbsp lemon juice
* 1 lemon rind
I can still taste good?
